Share Your Time and Talents with SPARK

Come to SPARK to learn and play with children! We have several opportunities for volunteers and an option for any schedule. Fill out the form below to share your interest and availability to get started learning through play with our visitors. We can’t do what we do without help from our volunteers and community!

What does it look like to volunteer at SPARK?

Do you have a talent like woodworking? Would you be interested in volunteering your time to help us build materials for our current or possible new exhibits?

Do you want to share your time? We have STEM Boxes and regular art activities that could use an extra set of hands! We provide the activity and all materials, all you do is come make sure the paint is full and the equipment is working.

Do you have a skill to promote?
If you make something special or have a hidden talent, we would love to offer a making class here at SPARK.

Questions about any of the options or an idea you have for the museum can be emailed to Megan at mlong@sparkrochestermn.org

We ask that our volunteers be at least 9th grade or older.

Volunteer hours are flexible from a weekly, monthly, occasional, or special event opportunities. Get in contact with Megan if you are wondering if your schedule will work for SPARK.

If you volunteer more than 50 hours in a year with SPARK you will be given a 1 year family membership.
